Good Practices Sierra Nevada National Park- Find out about available spaces in advance.
- Visit visitor centers, information points, and ecomuseums to get the most out of your visit.
- Use water responsibly. It is a scarce resource.
- Do not disturb or feed the animals. This would negatively affect their behavior.
- Check the weather forecast before starting your activity.
- Close the shelter door when you leave.
- Bring water, sunscreen, and appropriate clothing and footwear.
- Bring a cell phone with sufficient battery in case of emergency (112), but remember that there is not always coverage.
- Respect the operating rules posted at the shelter.
- If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the staff.
- Follow the recommendations and comply with the regulations at all times.
- Respect the facilities made available to you. We all pay for their maintenance.
- Do your part to prevent fires. Do not throw cigarettes or any other combustible object.
- Trash doesn't come back alone. Take it with you to the nearest trash can. Reduce, reuse, and recycle.
- Noise is another form of pollution. You'll enjoy your experience more in silence.
- Interact respectfully with local residents and other users. Respect private property.
- Make it easy for people with special needs to use it.
- By consuming local products and supporting local businesses, you will contribute to rural development.
- Practice responsible tourism and be committed to the environment. Be a true ecotourist!
- Never abandon your pet in the wild. This would endanger the local flora and fauna.
- Travel sustainably: use public transport, bicycle, foot, electric or shared vehicles... Park in designated areas.
- Leave no trace of your time in nature. The best souvenir you can take home is your own photograph.
- Your safety is our concern, but it is your responsibility.
